Questions, Answers and Link

The Home Ecological Footprint Calculator is a questionnaire which allows you to estimate how much land it takes to live in your home each year. After answering the 24 questions the results indicated that we are currently slightly below the average for our country (Australia), which was good. However the bad news is that if everyone lived like us then we would require 3.2 planets to sustain this level of living (our household ecological footprint is 18.3 global hectares).

Note that this calculator differs to the EDN calculator in that it looks at the household impact, not the individual impact.  The calculator also broke the footprint down by impact Activity (Energy Land, Cropping Land, Grazing Land, Forest Land and Occupied Land )

Your total Ecological Footprint per year is: 18.372 global hectares

This is equivalent to  23.833 Soccer Fields
