- Use cold water settings on your washing machine and wash full loads rather than a number of small loads.
- Spin dry your washing in the washing machines before placing them in the clothes dryer to reduce drying time.
- Ensure that your clothes dryer is adequately ventilated.
- To ensure optimal efficiency clean the lint filter on your clothes dryer after each use.
